5 Movies to Watch When You Feel Like Your Business Is Killing You

Been Having One of Those Weeks? These Movies Will Pull You Through

Look, we've all been there - staring at the screen, wondering if this whole entrepreneurship thing was a massive mistake. When I hit those moments (and trust me, they come more often than I'd like to admit), there's nothing better than shutting down the laptop, grabbing some comfort food, and losing myself in a good movie.

  • The Pursuit of Happyness hits different when you're going through it yourself. Watching Will Smith's character sleep in subway bathrooms with his kid while chasing his dreams... man, it makes your own struggles feel a bit more manageable. Plus, that ending gets me every single time.

  • Moneyball is perfect for when you feel like David taking on Goliath. Brad Pitt shows us that sometimes the craziest ideas - the ones everyone laughs at - are exactly what change the game. If you're trying something new and everyone's telling you you're wrong, this one's for you.

  • The Founder is a wild ride. Ray Kroc wasn't exactly a saint, but watching him turn a single burger joint into McDonald's reminds me that sometimes you have to be a bit obsessed to make it. (Just maybe don't follow ALL of his examples...)

  • The Greatest Showman is pure entrepreneurial serotonin. Sure, it's romanticized, but sometimes you need that larger-than-life reminder that building something amazing means putting on a show and believing in the impossible.

  • Joy feels like watching every entrepreneur's family dinner nightmares come to life. If Jennifer Lawrence's character can deal with that chaos and still build an empire, your passive-aggressive emails from clients don't seem so bad, right?

So next time it all feels like too much, order that pizza, wrap yourself in a blanket, and let these stories remind you why you started in the first place. Sometimes, the best way to solve tomorrow's problems is to step away and recharge tonight.

What's your go-to movie when business gets rough? Would love to hear what gets you through those tough days.
